Criteria to Become a Nursing Apprentice in Germany

To qualify for a nursing apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:

Educational Requirements: Senior secondary school (12th Grade) leaving certificate.
Age: Candidates should be between 16 and 27 years old.
Background Check: Police clearance certificate serving as a letter of good conduct.
Health Requirements: Good physical and mental health.
Language Proficiency: A good command of both spoken and written German is necessary, validated by passing the B2 German Language exam (all modules). Some institutes also accept a passed B1 German language exam.

Interview: You will be interviewed by the employer to assess your suitability.
Vocational School Enrollment: Apprentices must attend vocational school part-time.
